Product Analyst
Product, IT
Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam
We are looking for a sharp and curious Product (Data) Analyst to join our Data team. In this role, you will sit at the intersection of data, product, and business — turning raw data into actionable insights that drive decisions across the company. You will own both ad-hoc analytical work and the development of scalable dashboards on our Business Intelligence (BI) platform, partnering closely with Product, Business, Operations, and other cross-functional teams to solve real problems with data.
Key Responsibilities
1. Business Intelligence & Dashboard Development
-
Design, build, and maintain dashboards and reports on the company BI platform to track key business and product metrics.
-
Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and accessibility across BI outputs for all stakeholder groups.
-
Continuously improve dashboard usability and relevance based on evolving business needs.
2. Ad-hoc Analysis & Insight Generation
-
Respond to ad-hoc data requests from Product, Business, Ops, Customer, and other teams with timely, well-structured analysis.
-
Proactively surface insights — identifying trends, anomalies, and opportunities — rather than waiting to be asked.
-
Translate complex analyses into clear, concise narratives appropriate for both technical and non-technical audiences.
3. Cross-functional Collaboration
-
Partner with Product Managers to define, track, and interpret product KPIs and funnel metrics.
-
Support Business and Operations teams with performance reporting, campaign analysis, and operational efficiency metrics.
-
Work with Engineering and Data Engineering to ensure data pipelines and event tracking are correctly instrumented for analytical needs.
4. Data Quality & Governance
-
Identify and escalate data quality issues; collaborate with Engineering to resolve them upstream.
-
Document data definitions, metric logic, and analytical methodologies to ensure consistency across the organization.
-
Contribute to the development and maintenance of a shared metric framework and data dictionary.
Qualifications
-
3 years of experience in a Data Analyst, Product, Business Analyst, or similar role, preferably in a tech, fintech, or digital product company.
-
Strong proficiency in SQL for data extraction, transformation, and analysis across large datasets.
-
Hands-on experience building and maintaining dashboards using BI tools (Holistics, Metabase, Superset, Looker, Tableau, or similar).
-
Solid foundation in analytical thinking — ability to frame problems, structure analysis, and draw sound conclusions from data.
-
Strong communication skills — ability to present findings clearly and confidently to non-technical stakeholders.
-
Experience in fintech, banking, or consumer financial services.
-
Working knowledge of data pipeline tools and data warehouse concepts (BigQuery, Redshift, Snowflake, dbt, etc.).
-
Exposure to A/B testing and experiment analysis methodologies.
What We’re Looking For
Beyond technical skills, we value analysts who are genuinely curious — people who ask ‘why’ before ‘how’, challenge assumptions, and are not satisfied with surface-level answers. The ideal candidate is:
-
Proactive: You bring insights to the table, not just answers to questions already asked.
-
Business-minded: You understand that data serves a purpose — helping Timo grow and serve customers better.
-
Collaborative: You thrive in cross-functional environments and know how to build trust with stakeholders across teams.
-
Precise: You take data quality seriously and hold yourself to a high standard of analytical rigor.
