Team Leadership

• Lead, mentor, and manage the Product Data Analyst team, providing guidance on technical skill development, career growth, and performance management.
• Set the team’s roadmap and priorities in alignment with product and business objectives; allocate resources and manage workload across analysts.
• Recruit, onboard, and build team capability to support Timo’s growing data needs.
• Establish best practices, standards, and quality checks for analysis, reporting, and documentation across the team.

Strategic & Cross-Functional Impact

• Design, build, and deploy elegant BI solutions (e.g., reporting tools) to enable data-informed decisions and meaningful monitoring/analysis of product metrics across the organization.
• Own the overall usability of Timo’s business intelligence system as it relates to product domains, departments, and clusters.
• Drive data practice adoption across the Product organization through self-service capabilities, enterprise BI portal adoption, and other data services.
• Partner with product leaders and business stakeholders to define, evaluate, and refine key product metrics for tracking, reporting, and analysis.
• Represent the Product Data Analyst team in cross-functional discussions, translating business questions into analytical frameworks and communicating insights to leadership.

Analysis & Execution

• Develop and execute complex database queries; oversee and review team analyses for accuracy and rigor.
• Perform and guide in-depth product/consumer data analysis to drive actionable insights.
• Mine and analyze large-scale structured and unstructured data sources to uncover insights, issues, and opportunities, and recommend solutions.
• Partner with Data Engineers to identify and close gaps in data infrastructure, improving data integrity and reliability across the organization.

How to succeed in this role

• 7+ years of data analysis experience, including prior experience leading or managing a team of data analysts.
  Leadership Experience: Proven experience mentoring analysts, managing performance, and building team capability.
• Advanced Analytical Skills: Mastery in handling complex data analyses and deriving actionable insights from large datasets.
• Strong Technical Proficiency: Advanced expertise in SQL, Python, and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Looker).
• Excellent Communication: Ability to articulate complex data insights clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, including senior leadership.
• Deep Business & Product Acumen: Strong understanding of the industry and how data drives product and business outcomes; able to influence strategy and decision-making.
• Champion of Data-Driven Culture: Encourage and facilitate the use of data in strategic decision-making across the organization.
• Strong Project & Stakeholder Management: Able to manage multiple projects and competing priorities simultaneously, driving them to completion.
• Data Governance: Champion data quality, integrity, and governance standards within the team and organization.
• Creative Problem-Solving: Use innovative thinking to solve complex problems and uncover new opportunities through data.
