We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer in Test (SDET) to help shape and drive Timo’s test automation strategy across mobile, backend, and integration layers.

You will own the design, build, and continuous improvement of our automation frameworks — partnering closely with Engineering, QA, and DevOps to raise the bar on release confidence, system reliability, and overall product quality. Beyond writing tests, you will define how Timo tests at scale and mentor others to do the same.

What You Will Do

  • Define and own Timo’s test automation strategy across mobile apps, backend services, and integrations

  • Design and build scalable, reusable automation frameworks across UI, API, integration, and data layers

  • Identify high-risk areas and critical user journeys, and ensure they have proper automated coverage

  • Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI) to enable continuous testing

  • Analyze test results and drive quality improvements, close coverage gaps proactively

  • Collaborate with Engineering, QA, and DevOps to improve system reliability and release confidence

  • Mentor team members through code reviews, pairing, and knowledge sharing

  • Continuously improve testing processes, frameworks, and tooling

What We Are Looking For

Experience

  • 5+ years in test automation, with strong hands-on experience designing automation solutions

  • Proven experience testing across multiple layers: UI, API, and system integration

  • Comfortable working in agile, cross-functional product teams

Skills & Expertise

  • Strong programming skills

  • Hands-on with automation tools/frameworks: Selenium, Appium, Playwright, Robot Framework, or equivalent

  • Solid understanding of test automation strategy: test pyramid, risk-based testing, and the boundaries between unit, API, and E2E testing

  • Experience integrating tests into CI/CD pipelines: Jenkins, GitLab CI, or similar

  • Experience with version control (Git) and modern development workflows

  • Strong debugging, analytical, and problem-solving skills

  • Professional working English: daily collaboration with Timo leadership and Kredivo’s regional teams
