The VP of Marketing plays a critical leadership role in shaping and driving the company’s overall marketing strategy for the purpose of business growth. This role is pivotal in advancing brand development, leading customer acquisition, enhancing customer retention, and building strong brand loyalty. The VP of Marketing is expected to align marketing efforts with the company’s overarching business goals, ensuring that every campaign, initiative, and strategy is both impactful and measurable. In this role, you will be responsible for maximising the ROI on marketing spend while leading and mentoring a high-performing team.

The ideal candidate is a dynamic leader with a strategic mindset, hands-on experience, and the ability to own and deliver results through a data-driven approach. You will act as the company’s chief storyteller, ensuring a consistent, compelling brand narrative that resonates across all marketing channels and engages customers deeply.

This is a highly visible role that requires a proactive, hands-on leader with the ability to own and drive marketing success across the organisation. If you are passionate about building brands, leading teams, and achieving measurable growth, this role offers the opportunity to have a lasting impact on both customer & company trajectories.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop & Lead Marketing Strategy: Define and execute a comprehensive marketing strategy that aligns with the company's long-term growth goals. Spearhead initiatives that fuel customer acquisition, brand awareness, and revenue growth.
  • Team Leadership & Development: Lead, mentor, and manage a team of marketing professionals. Create an environment that encourages innovation, performance excellence, and professional development. Set clear objectives for each team member and ensure cross-functional collaboration within the department.
  • Brand Management & Storytelling: Act as the company’s chief storyteller, shaping and maintaining a consistent and compelling brand narrative across all touchpoints. Lead brand initiatives to solidify the company’s market position and create meaningful engagement with the target audience.
  • Data-Driven Insights & Optimisation: Leverage data analytics to continuously improve marketing strategies, campaigns, and performance. Ensure that marketing activities deliver measurable results, and adjust tactics as needed to maximize efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Marketing Budget Ownership: Take full ownership of the marketing budget. Monitor and optimise spend to achieve the desired Investor Acquisition Cost (IAC) and payback period goals. Demonstrate a keen focus on maximising ROI on every marketing dollar invested.
  • Collaborative Partnerships: Cultivate and manage strong relationships with key external partners, agencies, and vendors. Ensure that all collaborations align with the company’s strategic marketing objectives and deliver high-quality outcomes.
  • Cross-Department Collaboration: Work closely with the product and customer facing teams to ensure marketing efforts are well-integrated with broader business initiatives. Ensure the marketing strategy supports product launches, customer retention efforts, and revenue growth.
