About the role:

As a web and graphic designer, you will work on a variety of products and activities, such as webpages, e-direct mailers, posters, corporate and product premiums, on-ground and digital displays.

You will work to a brief agreed with internal clients (sales, marketing, events and client service teams) and will rely on creativity, marketing best practices and user-centered design principles to develop beautiful and engaging creative concepts and assets that will meet client’s objectives.

The work demands creative flair, up-to-date knowledge of industry software and a professional approach to time, costs and deadlines.

Responsibilities

  • Meet internal clients to discuss the objectives and creative requirements of the job

  • Think innovatively to produce new ideas and concepts within the constraints of time

  • Create compelling, high quality visual designs and layouts that meets internal clients’ objectives and adheres to company brand guideline

  • Present design drafts to internal clients for review, discuss and perform edits based on feedback

  • Manage and meet timelines by accurately estimating the time required to complete a request and managing expectations of internal clients

  • React to and fulfill urgent requests by assessing and re-prioritizing delivery pipeline

  • Work with a range of media and keep up to date on emerging design trends, techniques and technologies

Requirement

  • Diploma or degree in multimedia development or equivalent art/design major

  • 1 or more years of experience in business or agency environment is preferred

  • Experience working in a fast paced environment with multiple stakeholder groups

  • Good English communication skills is a plus

  • Highly creative and have a genuine passion for the web and graphic design

  • Has a strong portfolio demonstrating past design works

  • Proficient in Photoshop, Illustrator, HTML/CSS (proficiency in xHTML and Javascript is a plus)

  • Basic animation skills (Adobe Animate / AE)

  • Possess great attitude – positive, energetic and driven individual

  • Strong team player with ability to work independently

  • Ability to work under pressure and takes pride in meeting deadlines

  • Highly organized and high attention to detail
