As a Senior QA Engineer at PropertyGuru, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our web and mobile products through advanced testing methodologies and automation. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to drive quality assurance initiatives, enhance testing frameworks, and uphold the highest standards of product excellence.

As a Guru you will be accountable for:

• Drive shift-left quality practices and elevate the quality mindset across all stakeholders (Engineering, Product, QA)
• Build scalable, maintainable automation systems - not just isolated test scripts
• Apply an AI-first approach to accelerate testing while maintaining high quality standards
• Proactively identify gaps and introduce smart and scalable solutions
• Reduce manual QA dependency by enabling self-serve automation for engineers
• Effectively own multiple teams, driving a lean QA model with strong best practices.
• Partner cross-functionally to raise quality standards, processes, and accountability
• Provide mentorship and technical leadership to junior QA engineers.
• Build a solid end-to-end and architectural understanding across all services and touch-points, not limited to owned team scope.
• Build strong release processes and discipline within your team.

We're looking for someone who:

• Exposure to AI-enabled testing tools or automation acceleration techniques.
• Strong exposure in Mobile apps, Web testing and automation.
• Strong experience in test automation using Playwright, Appium and/or other automation tools/frameworks
• Strong understanding of Micro-services Architecture and testing.
• Strong understanding of OOPs principles.
• Proficiency in TypeScript/JavaScript/Python for automation development
• Experience building and maintaining scalable automation frameworks from scratch
• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and test integration strategies
• Strong experience with API testing, UI testing, micro-services and end-to-end test automation.
• Strong understanding of test design, test strategy, and quality engineering principles
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments with cross-functional teams.
