About the Role

We are seeking a passionate and results-driven Product Manager to join the Consumer Marketplace Trust team at PropertyGuru in Bangalore. This role is pivotal in shaping the trusted interactions between property seekers and agents, ensuring PropertyGuru continues to be the most reliable marketplace for all property-related decisions.

As the Product Manager, you will be at the forefront of enhancing trust between our consumers and agents by identifying and delivering features, systems, and policies that create transparency, fairness, and confidence. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, UX/UI, data science, marketing, and customer experience, to design and implement solutions that elevate the consumer experience and drive our mission of becoming a trusted advisor to every property seeker.

Key Responsibilities

Define and Execute Vision: Develop the short- and medium-term vision and strategy for marketplace trust products that enhance the relationship between property seekers, agents & PropertyGuru.

Build Trusted Experiences: Design features and solutions that promote trust and transparency, such as agent ratings, property verification, dispute resolution mechanisms, etc.

Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with engineering, design, data science, and other teams to ideate, develop, and launch products that address both consumer pain points and agent needs.

Data-Driven Decisions: Leverage data from user feedback, behavioral metrics, A/B testing, and market research to refine and prioritize product features.

Stakeholder Management: Work closely with internal teams (marketing, customer support, and other product teams) and external partners to align product goals with organizational objectives.

Continuous Improvement: Monitor the performance of trust-related features and iterate based on insights and trends to ensure long-term success.

About You

Experience:

  • 3+ years of product management experience, ideally in a consumer-focused, marketplace, or trust-related domain.
  • Proven success in launching impactful B2C products that improve customer experience and satisfaction.

Analytical & Data Skills:

  • Strong quantitative skills with a track record of using data (e.g., A/B testing, experimentation, data analysis) to make informed decisions.
  • Familiarity with trust metrics such as Net Promoter Score (NPS), dispute resolution rates, and consumer satisfaction scores.

User-Centric Mindset:

  • A strong understanding of what constitutes a "trusted" experience for consumers and the ability to work closely with UX/UI and research teams to deliver it.

Collaboration:

  • Proven ability to work with cross-functional teams, prioritize effectively, and handle multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills to work with internal and external stakeholders.

Problem-Solving Skills:

  • Creative thinker with the ability to identify opportunities for building trust and solving complex problems through technology and process improvements.

Bias for Action:

  • A self-starter with a "can-do" attitude who is not afraid to roll up their sleeves to ensure high-quality products and features are delivered on time.
