Role Overview

Join Pluang’s Special Projects team to build automated, data-driven solutions for managing operations, customer service, and AML on our multi-asset platform.

What You’ll Do

• Design and ship automation that replaces manual workflows across Operations, Customer Service, and AML — from case routing and triage logic to proactive monitoring and scripted resolutions

• Partner with Ops, CS, and Compliance leads to identify high-volume pain points, then build the tools (dashboards, internal apps, AI/LLM-powered agents, data pipelines) that reduce handle time, error rates, and risk exposure

• Turn raw operational data into decisions: surface trends in user behavior, agent productivity, and AML signals, and build the alerting and reporting layers around them

• Own projects end-to-end — scoping with stakeholders, prototyping, deploying, measuring impact, and iterating until the metric actually moves

• Stay close to the ground: sit with CS agents, shadow Ops workflows, and review real AML cases so you deeply understand each problem before automating it

• Help shape how the Special Projects team operates — tooling stack, prioritization, and ways of working as the team scales

What We’re Looking For

• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Finance, Mathematics or related quantitative field

• 2+ years of professional experience

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with comfort moving between strategy, data, and hands-on implementation

• Working proficiency in SQL and Python (or similar) — you can pull data, write scripts, and integrate APIs without leaning on engineering for every step

• Experience building internal tools, automations, or AI/LLM-powered workflows is a strong plus

• Bias toward action: comfortable with ambiguity, scoping your own problems, and shipping a useful V1 quickly

• Clear communicator who can translate between Ops, CS, and Compliance stakeholders and technical execution

• Background in fintech, operations, consulting, or a high-growth startup is a plus; familiarity with regulated environments (KYC/AML, payments, brokerage) even better

• Genuine curiosity about how a multi-asset platform runs day-to-day — the unglamorous plumbing of ops, CS, and compliance is what excites you
