About the Job

We are looking for a passionate, curious, and analytical Product Intern to join our Product Management team at Paper.id. In this role, you will get hands-on experience in the fast-paced fintech industry, learning how a product goes from an initial idea to a full-scale feature used by thousands of businesses.

You will work closely with our Product Managers, Product Designers, and Engineering teams to help research, design, and improve our digital payment and invoicing solutions. If you love solving problems, dissecting app user experiences, and digging into data, this internship is the perfect launchpad for your career in Product Management.

  • Duration: 3–6 Months (Full-time hybrid internship)

  • Location: Kebon Jeruk, West Jakarta

Responsibilities

  • User & Competitor Research: Conduct market research, competitor analysis, and user benchmarking to identify product gaps, new feature opportunities, and current fintech trends.

  • Data Analysis: Assist Product Managers in tracking and analyzing user behavior, feature adoption rates, and product metrics to gather actionable insights.

  • Product Documentation: Help draft and maintain clean Product Requirement Documents (PRDs), user flows, and release notes for internal and external stakeholders.

  • Feature Testing & QA: Collaborate with the Quality Assurance (QA) team to test new feature builds, ensuring the user experience matches the intended product design before launch.

  • Cross-Functional Support: Act as a bridge between Product Management and Customer Success/Operations teams to gather user feedback, identify bugs, and help prioritize product fixes.

Qualifications

  • Education: Final-year undergraduate students or recent graduates from any major (Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or Management are a plus).

  • Availability: Able to commit to a full-time hybrid internship schedule for at least 3 to 6 months.

  • Analytical Mindset: Strong logical thinking and structural problem-solving skills. Comfort with spreadsheets (Google Sheets/Excel) or data visualization tools is a big advantage.

  • Product Curiosity: A strong passion for technology, software applications, and the fintech ecosystem. You are someone who loves analyzing why certain apps work well and others don't.

  • Communication Style: Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both Indonesian and English. Ability to present ideas clearly.

  • Tools (Plus Point): Prior exposure to product management tools like Clickup, Figma, or Metabase is a great advantage.
