About the team
Our General Health Services team is critical to the success of Doctor Anywhere. We are a hybrid team of operations and healthcare professionals who oversee Doctor Anywhere’s medical operations including Online & Offline GP services, mobile clinic, health screening and radiology services. With our patients as top priority, our team works closely together to deliver the benefits of innovative medical technology.
About the role
We are seeking a responsible and service-oriented Clinic In-Charge to lead the day-to-day operations of one of our GP clinics. You will be accountable for clinic readiness, patient service, team performance, inventory, compliance and operational follow-through, while remaining hands-on in front desk and clinical support duties.
What you’ll do
- Lead daily clinic operations and ensure manpower, workflow and clinic readiness are sufficient to support safe and efficient patient care.
- Supervise, coach and provide on-the-job training to Clinic Assistants and Senior Clinic Assistants; monitor performance and provide timely feedback.
- Oversee patient registration, appointments, dispensing, billing, cash reconciliation and claims workflows across TPA, corporate and government subsidy schemes.
- Maintain medication safety, accurate CMS documentation and appropriate escalation of incidents, patient feedback and operational issues.
- Own inventory performance, including weekly cycle counts, stock receiving, expiry management, transfers, write-offs and periodic stock takes; investigate and correct discrepancies.
- Maintain audit readiness and adherence to SOPs, infection control, fridge-temperature monitoring, security, opening/closing procedures and overall clinic tidiness.
- Coordinate with HQ Operations, doctors and supporting teams on staffing, patient issues, systems, stock and other clinic matters; ensure agreed actions are followed through.
- Support doctors during examinations and treatments and ensure staff competency for basic procedures such as ECG and Visual Acuity.
- Work rostered shifts and support cross-deployment or operational coverage when required.
What you’ll bring
Must-haves
- Strong hands-on GP clinic operations experience (at least 3-5 years) with demonstrated ability to lead or supervise a small clinic team.
- Proficiency in CMS, TPA claims and government healthcare subsidy workflows such as CHAS and MediSave.
- Able to manage clinic operations independently, prioritise competing issues and escalate risks appropriately.
- Strong leadership, communication, coaching and conflict-management skills, with the ability to hold the team accountable to operational standards.
- Strong inventory, cash-handling and administrative discipline with high attention to accuracy and compliance.
- Able to work rostered shifts over a 5.5-day, 44-hour work week, including weekends and public holidays according to clinic requirements.
- Computer literate and comfortable using multiple operational systems, Google Workspace and reporting trackers.
Nice-to-haves
- Nursing background or prior nursing experience preferred. (DA Piccadilly Grand)
- Trained and competent in conducting Treadmill ECG and Spirometry. (DA Piccadilly Grand)
- Certified in Phlebotomy, with experience performing blood collection independently. (DA Piccadilly Grand)
- Previous experience as a Clinic In-Charge, Clinic Supervisor or equivalent role in primary care.
- Experience with audits, staff rostering, incident follow-up, inventory variance management and training junior clinic staff.
