We support business needs by attracting, hiring and developing talent to build up a strong organization while managing our workplace and people operations in a way that keeps employees engaged and productive at work.
About the role
We are looking for an enthusiastic HR Intern (Regional Payroll) to join our People & Culture Team at a fast-growing regional healthcare company. Working closely with our payroll specialists, you'll get hands-on exposure to payroll across Malaysia, the Philippines, Thailand, and Indonesia, and a behind-the-scenes look at how a regional People & Culture function operates.
This role is ideal for a student or recent graduate interested in a career in HR, payroll, or people operations. No prior payroll experience is required — just curiosity, reliability, and a willingness to roll up your sleeves based in Singapore

Duration: Minimum 6 months, with flexibility to extend
What you'll do
  • Collect and verify timekeeping and payroll records, and support payroll calculations and checks under guidance
  • Help with audits and reconciliations of payroll records to ensure accuracy
  • Support year-end activities, including reconciliations, statutory filings, and annual employee tax documents
  • Respond to routine employee queries on payroll and deductions
  • Maintain payroll files, trackers, and documentation
  • Support regional People Operations projects and process improvement initiatives
About you
  • Studying towards or recently graduated with a degree or diploma in HR, Business, Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • Strong attention to detail and good organizational skills
  • High integrity and able to handle confidential information responsibly
  • Comfortable with Excel or Google Sheets and quick to learn new systems
  • Proactive, a good communicator, and comfortable in a fast-paced environment
  • Able to commit an internship for around 6 months
What you'll gain
  • At least 6 full payroll cycles across four APAC markets, including year-end processing
  • A practical understanding of payroll compliance in different countries
  • Mentorship from experienced People & Culture team.
