About the Role
We are looking for a highly driven, results-oriented Assistant Manager to join our Commercial team. This is a hunter sales role focused on identifying, pursuing, and winning new business opportunities that drive sustainable revenue growth.
You will be responsible for building a sustainable sales pipeline through direct channels by independently identifying, prospecting and engaging potential clients. Success in this role requires a proactive hunter mindset, with the ability to generate new leads, develop opportunities, and convert prospects into long-term corporate clients. In addition to direct corporate sales, you will identify and pursue government and institutional opportunities and develop strategic commercial partnerships. You will leverage a combination of networking, cold outreach, referrals, industry events and market research to consistently drive revenue growth and expand Doctor Anywhere's corporate customer base.
This role reports directly to the Head of Commercial, General Health Services and is based in Singapore.
A summary of the key responsibilities are as follows:
- Build and grow a sustainable sales pipeline through direct channels by proactively identifying, prospecting and engaging new corporate clients.
- Independently source leads through cold outreach, networking, referrals, market research, industry events and other business development activities to generate qualified opportunities and achieve individual revenue targets.
- Own the full sales cycle from lead generation and qualification through proposal development, negotiation, contract closure, and account management.
- Develop and execute sales strategies to penetrate new market segments and grow Doctor Anywhere's corporate customer base.
- Build and maintain a strong pipeline of qualified opportunities while accurately forecasting sales performance and revenue.
- Identify, pursue and manage government and statutory board opportunities, including monitoring GeBIZ and other procurement portals for relevant RFPs and tenders.
- Prepare and coordinate high-quality tender submissions, proposals and commercial responses for government and institutional opportunities.
- Build relationships with key decision-makers across corporate organizations, government agencies, HR leaders, procurement teams and strategic partners.
- Track and report sales activities, pipeline progression, partnership development and revenue performance using CRM and internal reporting tools.
- Represent Doctor Anywhere at networking events, industry conferences and client engagements to generate leads and strengthen market presence.
About You
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing or a related discipline.
- 5–7 years of experience in business development, B2B sales or commercial roles with a proven track record of consistently exceeding sales and revenue targets.
- Demonstrated success in a hunter sales role with strong prospecting, lead generation and new client acquisition capabilities.
- Proven ability to independently build and manage a healthy sales pipeline from scratch.
- Strong commercial acumen with excellent negotiation, presentation and consultative selling skills.
- Experience managing complex and longer sales cycles involving multiple stakeholders.
- Exposure to government procurement processes, GeBIZ or public sector tenders is advantageous.
- Strong relationship-building and stakeholder management skills across senior corporate decision-makers.
- Excellent communication, project management and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Analytical and data-driven, with the ability to identify market opportunities and develop commercially viable solutions.
- Self-motivated, resilient and highly accountable, with a strong sense of ownership and a passion for achieving results.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with a willingness to roll up your sleeves and thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
- Comfortable with ambiguity and able to adapt quickly as business priorities evolve.
