Our General Health Services team is critical to the success of Doctor Anywhere. We are a hybrid team of operation and healthcare professionals who oversee Doctor Anywhere ’s medical operations including Online & Offline GP services, mobile clinic, health screening and radiology services. With our patients as top priority, our team works closely together to deliver the benefits of innovative medical technology.
About the role
We are seeking a Senior Admin Assistant, Customer Support & Solutions. This role will primarily focus on supporting operational and administrative workflows to ensure smooth delivery of healthcare services to our customers and patients.
The ideal candidate will have a high level of integrity and professionalism in all tasks, and will demonstrate meticulousness, a strong desire for continuous learning and development and the ability to deal with ambiguity in a start-up environment. Prior experience in an administrative, operations or healthcare-related role will be helpful.
This role is based in Petaling Jaya, Malaysia and will be reporting directly to the Manager, Operations.
A summary of the key responsibilities are as follows:
- Support the preparation and delivery of patient-related documentation and health screening reports, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Handle patient communications and follow-ups as required, based on operational or clinical instructions.
- Handle operational and administrative support tasks across different health services, including data entry, case tracking, document processing, and system updates.
- Provide backend support for customer requests and service workflows, such as appointment coordination, service enquiries, and internal handovers.
- Accurately submit and manage medical claims or records via internal systems and external platforms where required.
- Liaise with internal stakeholders (doctors, nurses, clinic staff, mobile teams, and operations teams) to resolve operational issues.
- Work with team members to support improvements to workflows.
- Participate in cross-training within the Customer Support & Solutions team as required.
- Carry out any other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the supervisor / manager.
About you
- Minimum of diploma
- Strong attention to detail with ability to handle high-volume transactional work accurately.
- Computer literate with basic proficiency in using email and Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel) and Google Sheets.
- Good communication skills, especially in handling sensitive or time-critical information.
- Able to conduct calls or messages to patients in a professional and empathetic manner.
- Comfortable working independently on daily tasks and taking initiative when required.
- Strong team player with the ability to work collaboratively with team members.
- Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
- Prior experience in healthcare, insurance, or claims is an advantage but not mandatory.
- A start-up attitude - you take full ownership of things that you do, willing to go out of your comfort zone and take on new challenges.
- Comfortable with ambiguity and flexible to learn new things - we’re not done growing, and heading into uncharted territories is part of the fun!
