Our Finance department is a fundamental part of Doctor Anywhere and plays a major role in ensuring the company's financial stability. We are responsible for advising management on financial decisions that have a far reaching impact on the company's future.

About the role

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Executive/Senior Executive, Finance to join our clinic finance team. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain practical experience in both finance and administrative functions, enabling you to develop a versatile skill set and contribute to the efficient operation of our organization. You will work closely with our clinic Finance team to support various tasks and projects. The contract period would be for 3 months with an option of extension for another 3 months.

This role is based in the Singapore and reports directly to Accountant, Finance

A summary of the key responsibilities are as follows:

• Support the finance team in processing and reconciling patient billing, insurance claims, and payments.
• Assist with preparing financial reports, data analysis, and performance tracking.
• Assist in managing payment collections and resolving discrepancies in financial records.
• Help with month-end and year-end closing activities, including data entry and reconciliation.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline financial operations and improve processes.
• Ad Hoc Tasks: Undertake any additional ad hoc duties as assigned to support clinic finance operations.

About you

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field (Professional qualification certification preferred).
• Minimum of 3 years proven working experience in accounting or financial management roles
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and regulations (IFRS/FRS) is preferred.
• Proficiency in relevant accounting software, preferably in Oracle NetSuite and MS office applications.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
