About the Role

We are looking for an experienced HR Business Partner (HRBP) to collaborate closely with our leadership and employees to drive strategic HR initiatives and strengthen our people operations. This role will be critical in providing guidance on people management, organizational change, and fostering a positive work environment that aligns with our company culture and values.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in fast-paced, startup environments and strong HR expertise across various functions.

The position is based in Singapore and reports directly to the VP, People and Culture

A summary of the key responsibilities are as follows:

  • Partner with leaders and managers to understand business objectives and deliver HR solutions that drive organizational success.
  • Support workforce planning, performance management, employee relations, and succession planning to enhance team effectiveness.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor on HR policies, organizational changes, and development needs, ensuring alignment with the company’s goals.
  • Implement and manage HR programs and initiatives that reinforce our culture and promote a positive employee experience.
  • Work closely with the Talent Acquisition team to support talent management and employee engagement strategies.
  • Facilitate training, coaching, and development programs to enhance team competencies and leadership capabilities.
  • Handle employee relations, conflict resolution, and mediation to maintain a productive work environment.
  • Take a proactive approach to HR issues, anticipating needs and identifying improvement opportunities in HR processes.
  • Work closely with the Talent Acquisition Lead to align recruitment and talent strategies with business objectives, ensuring a cohesive approach to talent management.

About you

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 10 years of HR experience, with a focus on business partnering in fast-paced startup environments.
  • Proven experience managing HR processes, including performance management, employee relations, and talent management.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to independently manage HR issues and provide solutions.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a strong ability to engage and influence stakeholders across all levels.
  • A strategic mindset, with the ability to adapt to a dynamic work environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • High ethical standards, integrity, and respect for confidentiality.
  • Proactive, flexible, and comfortable navigating ambiguity in a rapidly changing environment.
  • A start-up attitude - you take full ownership of things that you do, willing to go out of your comfort zones and take on new challenges.
  • Comfortable with ambiguity and flexible to learn new things - we’re not done growing, and heading into uncharted territories is part of the fun!
