We are looking for a full-time highly motivated and professional Compliance Support Specialist to augment our team of dedicated support staff at Deputy. The position provides support for escalated issues for questions around US based Labor Laws, Fair Work Legislation and Australian Award questions for our SaaS product. The successful applicant will work closely with our Customer Support teams to ensure Customers understand how Labor laws are interpreted within the Deputy Product as well as the building and maintenance of these. An ability of self-learning and curiosity, and immense attention to detail is required to help make sure the correct information is given to Deputy’s customers.

Responsiblities

  • Collecting and interpreting data from various legal sources
  • Analysing results and reporting the results back to relevant members of the business
  • Improve processes and assist in building/maintaining an award or labor law
  • Keeping up to date with changes around the labor law landscape to ensure we are always compliant
  • Understanding of Fair Work Week legislation
  • Act as an escalation point for colleagues/customers, working closely alongside teams within the business for projects
  • Assisting in projects to improve our software

Skills and Experience

  • Inquisitive and troubling shooting skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, including the ability to empathise and deal calmly and professionally with customers to resolve their issues
  • Ability to diagnose, troubleshoot, and provide solutions for a broad range of problems
  • Previous compliance based experience, whether through payroll or working with scheduling teams
  • Excellent attention to detail with the ability to work efficiently and reliably with minimal supervision
The pay range for this position takes into account multiple factors that are all considered to determine an individual candidate’s starting pay. These factors include but are not limited to: market factors, experience, technical and non-technical skills, education, certifications, and other business acumen. This range does not include any potential incentive programs, such as individual or organizational performance bonuses.
For candidates based in the San Francisco Bay Area or New York City, the pay range for this position is $95,000 to $101,000.
For candidates based outside San Francisco Bay Area or New York City, the pay range for this position is $83,000 to $88,000.
