Job Description
As the Talent Business Partner, you will be partnering with business leaders and our employees to take the company forward. Managing activities such as employee relations, performance management, training & development, and talent management. You enjoy interacting with all your colleagues and are passionate about setting your colleagues up for success. This position will ensure we have a happy and productive workplace where everyone works to realize Cialfo’s established mission and objectives. Promoting corporate values and shaping a positive culture is a vital aspect. You will champion Cialfo’s culture for the region and functional teams. This role reports to the VP of Talent.
Responsibilities
- Facilitate performance review sessions, provide guidance and coaching to leaders on managing performance and feedback discussions.
- Deliver excellent employee experience through seamless and efficient management of each step of the employee life cycle, from onboarding to career transitions.
- Analyses trends and metrics in partnership with the Talent group to develop solutions, programs and policies.
- Manages and resolves complex employee relations issues. Conducts effective, thorough and objective investigations.
- Maintains in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees, reducing legal risks and ensuring regulatory compliance. Partners with the legal department as needed/required.
- Provides day-to-day performance management guidance to line management (e.g. coaching, counseling, career development, disciplinary actions).
- Works closely with management and employees to improve work relationships, build morale, and increase productivity and retention.
- Provides HR policy guidance and interpretation.
- Provides guidance and input on building OKRs, business unit restructures, workforce planning and succession planning.
- Regularly engage with our colleagues to know their pulse. You should know about how happy colleagues are through catch-ups and of course through pulse surveys.
- Spearhead and design employee engagement activities with colleagues. Design activities will bring a virtual bond across our remote teams.
- Regularly improve our Talent processes from feedback from colleagues, what the industry best practices are, and innovative practices that would make us thought leaders.
- Build, nurture relationships and interact with all levels of management to drive Talent related initiatives across the organization.
- Documentation (policies and procedures) for the Talent team's initiatives.
- Be part of building the departmental culture in Cialfo through engagement activities, employee experience, and communications.
Requirements
- At least 10 years’ working experience in HR, preferably in a Business Partner role.
- Strong business acumen, strategic thinking and problem solving mindset.
- Excellent stakeholder management (C-Level exposure), communication and influencing skills.
- Proficient in dealing with people data, metrics and providing insights through analytics
- Works well in a fast-paced environment and is able to move fast to make things happen!
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, solution-driven, highly organized, and detail-orientated with good decision making and time management skills.
- Independent, hands-on and takes accountability to deliver solutions and results.
- Change management skills.
- HRIS system implementation a big plus.
