Job Description

Join the team redefining how the world experiences design.

Hey, g’day, mabuhay, kia ora, 你好, hallo, vítejte!

Thanks for stopping by. We know job hunting can be time consuming, so we’ll get straight to the point.

Where and how you can work

Our flagship campus is in Sydney. We also have a campus in Melbourne and co-working spaces in Brisbane, Perth and Adelaide. But you have choice in where and how you work — we trust our Canvanauts to choose the balance that empowers them and their team to achieve their goals.

What you’d be doing in this role

This role sits within Design School, where we bring Canva’s learning experience strategy to life for millions of learners around the world. As a Product Educator, you’ll work at the intersection of learning and product — applying strong product knowledge to support outcome-led education across different learner levels.

At the moment, this role is focused on:

  • Applying Canva product knowledge to support outcome-led learning experiences across multiple learning levels.
  • Owning and evolving learning outcomes across various Canva products and learner journeys.
  • Contributing to the creation of learning content, including short-form content, workshops and distributable assets.
  • Supporting content strategy by testing, iterating and refining learning outcomes over time.
  • Working closely with Product, Platform and Ops teams to ensure learning content is accurate, scalable and up to date.
  • Partnering with Product Marketing Managers to understand product priorities and updates.
  • Translating learner and product insights into clear guidance that informs global content production.

You’re probably a match if

  • You enjoy helping people learn and grow, and care deeply about learner outcomes.
  • You’re comfortable working with both creative and technical partners.
  • You can balance structure with iteration and aren’t afraid to evolve your thinking.
  • You’re motivated by impact at scale rather than one-off outputs.
  • You’re curious about products and enjoy translating how they work into meaningful learning experiences.

Essential skills and experience

  • Understanding of how people learn across different levels and contexts.
  • Ability to connect learning outcomes to product capabilities in a learner-first way.
  • Experience contributing to education content, learning programs or instructional materials.
  • Strong collaboration skills and comfort working cross-functionally.
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills.

Bonus if you have

  • Experience with creative tools or design platforms.
  • Background in education, learning design or marketing.
  • Experience working on scalable or global learning programs.

About the team

Design School is part of Canva’s Marketing organisation and plays a key role in helping users learn Canva with confidence. We partner closely with Product and Marketing teams to ensure learning experiences are practical, inclusive and aligned with how Canva evolves — supporting learners at every stage of their journey.
