Job Description
Where and how you can work
Our flagship office is in Sydney, Australia, but we've made our way from down under, to a hub San Francisco, which is now home to our US operations. We offer flexibility in how and where you work, we trust our Canvanauts to choose the balance that empowers them and their team to achieve their goals.
What you’d be doing in this role
As Canva continues to scale globally, campaigns play a critical role in shaping how our brand and products show up in the world. This is a 13-month fixed-term parental leave cover where you’ll step into a high-impact leadership role, owning the strategy and execution of integrated campaigns across North America, with additional partnership across Australia.
You’ll operate at both a strategic and hands-on level, bringing together teams across Creative, Media, Strategy, Social, Growth, PR, and Product Marketing to deliver culturally resonant work that drives real impact.
At the moment, this role is focused on:
- Leading the development and delivery of integrated brand and product campaigns across the U.S., Canada, and Australia
- Localising global campaigns to ensure relevance and resonance in North American markets
- Turning audience insights, CEP research, and data into clear, actionable campaign briefs
- Managing and coaching two Campaign Managers, setting direction while supporting growth and delivery at pace
- Partnering closely with Creative (internal and external), Media, Social, B2B, EDU, and Product Marketing teams
- Driving operational excellence across timelines, budgets, workflows, and cross-functional collaboration
- Working with research and data partners to evaluate performance and continuously refine campaign effectiveness
You’re probably a match if:
- You bring 10+ years of experience leading integrated campaigns or brand marketing, ideally in tech, consumer, or creative-led environments
- You’re a collaborative, trusted leader who brings clarity and alignment across diverse stakeholders
- You have strong strategic instincts and can translate insights into compelling creative direction
- You’re comfortable operating in fast-paced, ambiguous environments across multiple time zones
- You have experience working with both in-house creative teams and external agencies
- You’re energised by culture, creativity, and Canva’s mission to empower everyone to design
About the team
You’ll join the North America Marketing team, partnering closely with regional and global counterparts. This team sits at the heart of how Canva shows up in the market, shaping campaigns that connect deeply with local culture while amplifying global moments.
