Where and how you can work
Our flagship office is in Sydney, Australia, but we've made our way from down under, to hubs in Austin and San Francisco, which are now home to our US operations. This is a hybrid role based in Austin, Texas.
About the role
As our second US-based Field Marketer, you’ll help Canva scale its presence across North America designing and delivering programs that create demand, deepen relationships, and drive revenue. You’ll collaborate closely with Sales and Marketing partners to localize our go-to-market motions, activate priority accounts, and bring our brand into strategic conversations.
This role plays a key part in advancing Canva’s mission to empower organizations to create, communicate, and grow. From intimate executive experiences to regional campaigns, your work will directly influence pipeline and build Canva’s reputation as a strategic partner for work. You’ll report into the Field Marketing Lead based in San Francisco and help shape how we scale programs across the US.
What you’d be doing in this role
As Canva scales change continues to be part of our DNA. But we like to think that's all part of the fun. So this will give you the flavour of the type of things you'll be working on when you start, but this will likely evolve.
At the moment, this role is focused on:
- You’ll partner closely with Sales to bring campaigns and customer moments to life across the east and central regions.
- You’ll design and execute in-person and virtual experiences that move target accounts through the funnel.
- You’ll build tailored regional marketing strategies that align with Canva’s global goals but speak to local audiences.
- You’ll manage logistics, vendors, and budgets with excellence — ensuring every activation runs smoothly and on brand.
- You’ll collaborate with brand, content, and product marketing teams to align messaging and amplify program impact.
- You’ll experiment with new formats and tactics to connect with enterprise audiences in meaningful ways.
- You’ll bring a test-and-learn mindset to everything you do, iterating quickly based on data and feedback.
What we're looking for
You’re a strategic field marketer who thrives in fast-paced, cross-functional environments. You know how to turn business goals into on-the-ground impact and love working closely with Sales to deliver results. You’re excited about building programs from the ground up, but just as happy rolling up your sleeves to execute. You bring creativity, curiosity, and operational rigor and you care deeply about the customer experience.
You’ll thrive in this role if you have:
- Experience in B2B field or event marketing, ideally at a high-growth SaaS or tech company
- A deep understanding of how to influence pipeline through localized marketing programs
- Excellent project management and cross-functional collaboration skills
- Strong communication and storytelling abilities
- A bias for action and a drive to innovate
- Familiarity with the east and central US enterprise landscape is a plus
