CAIS is seeking a driven and agile Content Marketer to write a variety of collateral and educational content. As part of the marketing team, this person will help ideate content and edit/proofread content created across all channels. The Content Marketer will play a pivotal role in working towards developing engaging acquisition marketing assets, campaign collateral, social content, digitally published content, video scripts, and pitch decks. The successful candidate will be embedded in the alternative investment world, with a strong understanding of the independent wealth management channel, and an ability to effectively communicate complex investment concepts and topics to the financial advisor community.

Responsibilities

  • Ideate and create appealing content to drive new advisors to the CAIS platform, engage with existing CAIS platform users, and expand CAIS brand awareness within the industry
  • Work collaboratively with the Investment Strategy team to execute market-related, topical and timely content for blogs, social, bylines, video, email, white papers, web, and ore
  • Edit and proof each item to confirm accuracy and voice consistency and align messaging to CAIS brand voice and guidelines
  • Serve as content creation expert across alternative investments and structured notes, and ensure content alignment with broader themes and outlooks
  • Manage and nurture relationships both internally and externally with partners; including business stakeholders across multiple business lines, providing white-glove service
  • Contribute to the evolution of content by following industry trends and insights, as well as anecdotal responses from each business unit
  • Plan and manage the creation process for new pieces, including drafting, editing, compliance, business review, and more

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience in financial services, alternative investment industry a plus
  • Excellent writing and editing skills, ability to research and write from scratch
  • Experience in writing on investment management topics, alternative investment a plus
  • Marketing collateral development experience required, including having worked with multiple stakeholders
  • Ability to independently execute instructions with great attention to detail
  • Experience coordinating multiple competing priorities in a fast-paced and changing environment
  • High level of personal integrity and ability to consistently deliver high-quality product
  • Experience developing content across all mediums strongly preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree in communications, business administration, or finance
  • Series 7 or 24 license a plus

CAIS’ compensation package includes a market competitive salary, a performance bonus, and exceptional benefits. For candidates located in New York, New York, the base salary range for this role is $70,000 - $100,000. Actual compensation is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to skill set, level of experience, and specific office location.
