The Role:
We're looking for a hands-on IT champion who thrives in a fast-paced startup environment and isn't afraid to roll up their sleeves whilst also implementing scalable solutions. As our first IT hire, you'll have the autonomy to build our technical foundation from the ground up. This isn't your typical IT support role – we need someone who can both fix a printer and architect our entire IT infrastructure. You'll be the go-to person for all things technical, from setting up laptops for new hires to implementing enterprise-level systems that will scale with our rapid growth.
What You Will Own:
- Implement IT infrastructure solutions, including network architecture, hardware deployment, and software systems to support our growing workforce across APAC, USA and EMEA
- Manage the complete IT lifecycle, from procurement and setup of new equipment to maintenance and eventual retirement of assets
- Work with senior leaders to implement IT policies, procedures, and documentation to ensure consistent processes across all of our offices
- Provide prompt and effective technical support to employees, resolving hardware, software, and network-related issues
- Administer user accounts, permissions, and access controls across all of Blinq’s systems and applications
- Monitor system performance and security, proactively identifying and resolving potential issues
- Manage relationships with IT vendors and service providers, ensuring cost-effective solutions and quality service
- AV support for all meeting rooms and all-hand meetings
- Deliver technical training programs to help employees effectively use company systems and follow security best practices
- Lead various IT projects and initiatives including infrastructure upgrades and new tech implementations
What We Are Looking For:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field, or equivalent practical experience
- 3+ years of hands-on experience in IT support, ideally within a start up Strong knowledge of Google workspace for Business, Ubiquiti, Kandji MDM, Zoom Rooms
- Excellent troubleshooting skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Understanding of data protection software Vanta - favourable not essential
