About the role
We're looking for a Talent Acquisition Lead to help us attract and acquire top talent to our business. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing the end-to-end recruitment process, from advertising job vacancies to onboarding new employees. You'll work closely with management to provide advice on workplace relations policies, staff performance, and disciplinary matters, while ensuring the maintenance of personnel records and associated HR information systems. In this role, you will also play a crucial part in negotiations related to terms and conditions of employment, dispute resolutions, and developing enterprise agreements or collective contracts.
About you
- 5+ years of talent acquisition and human resources experience, preferably in the startup technology space
- Proven track record in advertising job vacancies, interviewing, testing applicants, and selecting staff
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to provide advice on workplace relations policies and procedures
- Experience maintaining personnel records and HR information systems
- Ability to provide information on current job vacancies within the organization to employers and job seekers
- Skilled in negotiating terms and conditions of employment, resolving disputes, and interpreting legislation and contracts
- Knowledge of developing, planning, and formulating enterprise agreements, workplace relations policies, and programs, and their implementation
- Experience overseeing the formation and conduct of workplace consultative committees and employee participation initiatives
